Missing DVD Dialogue

I wanted to see if anyone else was having the same trouble as me. The music and effects have worked on the last three DVDs I tried playing on my PS3 but the dialogue was completely missing. Has anyone else run into this?

Only thing I can think of is you have it on 5.1 or 7.1 and you don't have a center speaker or it isn't working.

Yeah I think it's straight up broke because the DVDs will play the music and the sound effects, just not the dialogue. It's the weirdest thing.
