Modern Warfare 2.

You're a bit late to the party, MW2 released almost a year ago, but is still bashed today as if it just came out. People, especially kids, teens, and young adults, enjoy CoD, it's just a fact of life, get over it, their opinions shouldn't affect yours. It's the same way for the music and movie industry.

As I don't play online much, I prefer to play the single player campain.. I really don't like Modern Warfare or Modern Warfare 2. It's not that I don't like it.. it's an alright game, but it's not really doing anything that we haven't seen before. Hell, I've played more fun shooting games on the playstation 2. So why is almost everyone in my school ranting and raving about it, while I've dusted of my playstation 2 and enjoying games such as Resident Evil 4 and The Hitman Series and finding that I enjoy them tons more?McA713

MW2 is a game that you wont like it unless your : between the age 8-17 , noob or your play style is camping coz you dont need skills to get kills with MW2 dont replay to my massage and act like pro coz i could right now log into this crap game that i haven't played since its release week and ill dominate to prove for you

yes what im saying is this game sucks hard MW1 . badcompany2 , medal of honor and killzone 2 all those games are way way better than MW2 so check them out if you want a good or decent shooter games

MW2 has by far the best online play and matchmaking . At any given time at least 300,000 players , name one game that even comes close to them numbers .

I like both games but Im not obsessed with them like somepreteens are. I personally enjoyed COD4 better than MW2.

You notice everyone jumps straight on the ONLINE side of it.

COD4 and MW2 are great, all be it short, single player games. the main seling point is the multiplayer.

Call of duty 4 really did throw a spanner in the works of the standard online experience. perks etc never really made any kind of appearence on consoles until this. this meant that all you needed to do was camp for a bit and you could up your experience just by unloading a killstreak or 2. MW2 took this to a more extreme level, ruining the experience for lots of people.

The fact you don't play online that much (neither do I) is the real reason you cant see the appeal of thes games. I recenly bought "another console" so thought i would re-visit the modern warfare games (chiefly, because i was pissed at having no trophy support on COD4) and i'm enjoying them alot. But i wouldn't pay full price for them.

the games you mention, are story driven, single player games.

Obviously Call of Duty aint the game style for you.

looks like you are asingle player guy, so yeah MW2 is not for you. It's not fun if you are owned online. Most ppl hate it cuz they are owned badly or killed by noobs.

Its an amazing online multiplayer game, arguabley the best ever. Its simply a great online game.
