Modern warfare 2 online gameplay

I believe if it was world at war or modern warfare 1 then you wouldn't have as much of a problem. Its because all the pros play the latest call of duty and it takes time to get used to it and memorise the maps and plan tactics.

Hey guys im just wondering if you got any tips for a newbie when playing team deathmatch online on modern warfare 2, I dont like sniper shooting as its just a waiting game then, I guess im always getting killed like every 10 seconds, I finished modernwarfare 2 campaign mode and my video game skills are quite good so im confused is it just practise makes perfect thing? Not if you learn to qs :P. Just do what I do every fps game.

1. Learn Maps (unless its mag...)
2. Find best fit gun
3. Aim

Other than that theres tons of youtube videos from machima on how to get better. Combine your perks and killstreaks to match how you plan on playing. Always have a silencer on your weapon or your not gonna last more than a few kills, camp and let your kill streaks do your work for better one (harrier to pavelow), don't camp at one spot for too long (camp, kill, move on,) and if your getting owned by killstreak put on cold blood

being good at the missions means nothing with multiplayer. you dont have to camp with a sniper also if you have slieght of hand and steady aim pro its easier to kill on the move. but there is alot of noobs camping and noobtubing. get used to bad kills, but ull learn tricks and get used to the maps and b fine.

One Man Army + Danger close = Just noob tube.

One Man Army + Claymore = Lay claymore.

One Man Army + C4 = lay C4 by claymore to make a eber pwnage claymore.

Then just camp, use 7, 11, 25.

You can also use a 4th class with hardline but which to danger close pro as soon as you get a 6 kill streak.

Unfortunately you'll die a lot now because of people who like to hack in, cheat, quickscope and camp. But just be accurate, thats all you need to do.

when you say camp do you mean find a good spot and just wait their and let your killstreaks do the work for you and keep an eye out on your sniper, how long do you think I should camp for. Many thanks.kaza7861

The best advice I can give you is this: first, don't use extremely high killstreaks. If I were you, I'd have UAV, care package, and predator missile as my killstreak setup (I've been playing for a while and still use this quite often). UAV helps out A LOT, so definitely use it. While some would call care package "nooby", in all honestly if you struggle getting killstreaks it can be pretty darn good, considering you can pull out some pretty good killstreaks from it (for example, last game I played had two care packages, got two pavelows). Now that's pretty lucky, but still a possibility.

Secondly, I would recommend you learn how to use the noobtube (aka grenade launcher). While other people are going to say this is "nooby", in reality, you'd be quite foolish to not use it. If you shoot someone a couple of times and they duck around a corner, quickly switch to your grenade launcher and lob a shot on the ground over there. 9/10 you will kill them.

Don't camp! Its one of the most boring ways to play a game, as well as the most cowardly

What fightingfan said was simply what a lot of players do. Whether a person likes it or not, he/she will have tolerate it for as longs as he/she wants to play MW2.

First of all, you're a newbie whose just started playing a game that came out November 2009, so alot of your opponents have had quite some experience. However, you'll eventually catch on to how other people play and will develope your own strategies. Plus, you can always start fresh with everyone else with the new Call of Duty this November...

dont run around like a maniac, my friend does that and goes 2-20 every game, make sure you have your aim sights every time you turn a corner, and before you run through a long pathway scope it out for a couple seconds to make sure noone is there

I was horrible in MP, though I completed the story on Hardened in under 5.5 hours.

But, with time, I got my perfect weapon choice for every map.

When, I played MP the first time, my kills were 7 and deaths were 16.

Now my usual kills are 20+ and slowly my deaths have also decreased to 6-15.
