I agree this game is amazing. Whether Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is better or not we'll have to see.Though I didn't care much for Battlefield 1943, so that's probably not a good sign...

That's funny, because I'm on NG++ on Demon's Souls right now and I never got any help from a blue phantom and I barely farmed. Also, I play MW2 almost daily.

I love MW2. Its really fun to me, and I enjoy pwning my friends with a well placed Headshot. However, some people do not think this is fun, and maybe they prefer to shoot 3rd person style. Either way, it doesnt "Rock the World" i think LBP Already does that, but MW2 is a fun game.
Meh it's "good" but not as good as some make it out to be. It's hardly the best mp game, and the single player is mediocre. But the set pieces are nice.

It indeed rcoks the world. I am not saying its the best ever but it has to be the biggest sucess in gaming for as long as i can rember. The whole world plays the game.
So everyone who doesn"t like MW2 is "dumb in the head"... Weel I"d say the opposite. U are "dumb in the head" if you think MW2"s that good. Yes it sells most and has the strongest online community (in terms of numbers) but that doesn"t really make it the best game ever. Not at all. And yes, many PSN friends want me to play it, but it"s getting annoying as they dont play anything else. i have MW2. I played something over 2 days in total. But now I"m selling it. Thats right I"m selling MW2. It got boring and dull. Plus now there are so many campers which ruins the fun. Overpowered killstreaks and such. When one player has 58 kills and 2 deaths while everyone else has from 8 to 20 kills and 30 to 40 deaths, that"s not exactly what I call ballance. I"d say there are much better games out there.
Forgot to say that it"s a shame. Because of the riddiculous hype (they spent more money on hyping the game than actual development...) it sells like crazy. And yet there are some better games (U2) which sell much less. Now they gonna milk the game by Map Packs. And when next CoD game comes out next year, everyone is going to buy it again. Even though CoD games are practicaly all the same since MW1 (apart from tweaks in MP which made it much worse in MW2...). Just my opinion anyway.

haha exactly Modern Warfare 2 sucks -no storyline, shortest game ever (5-6 hours on HARD), most overrated game ever, maps suck, people take it WAY to seriously, cheap and stupid "addons" (killstreaks, deathstreaks (why the hell do I get extras for dying a couple times in a row), insanely cheap weapons and perks, annoying 5 year old kids who just learned how to swear (i know this is on all games), and frankly a waste of my time - it adds NOTHING new to the FPS genre

um actually its quite repetitive. And before the flamers come, I got a 1.50k.d., 5700 kills to 3750 deaths or something like that n im a level 63. I got bored of it real fast. And its overhyped and its a good game and all, but its not THAT good. This game is like the video games world ver. of pepsi as every has it and likes it.

:lol: same here. I like MW2 and I play it alot but that doesn't mean its my favorite game. I had way for fun playing Uncharted and Uncharted 2 and lets not forget MGS4. I always find myself going back to MGO for awhile when I get bored of CoD. I wonder if the TC even has a Konami account for MGO, doubtful:(
Guess I am "dumb in the head" because I thought it was a lazy retread with a criminally short single player campaign and multiplayer which has been infected with multiple cheats/bugs and exploits since day one, that should have been identified and dealt with through QC and field testing before it was released. I absolutely hated it. And as mentioned above, the little kids playing it like the one who posted this thread need to get the hell off XBL as they shouldn't be playing this game in the first place.
MW2 is very boring and repetitive. Has no community, and trust me theres more to a community than just alot of people playing a game. It has horrible perks, commando perk stabbing someone from 8 feet away says it all. Its officially campers paradise, its actually how you play the game now, how exciting for a fps huh.
As far as I'm concerned the only thing that saves this game is spec ops, other than that it would go right next to Waw as my 2 worst purchases this gen.
