MODERN WARFARE 3 , BLACK OPS 2 , or a new COD game ??

so now that call of duty for next year is confirmed

what do you think , u want modern warfare 3 by infinity ward , black ops 2 by treyarch or a whole new CALL OF DUTY game

The only thing that COD can do to generate interest from me is maybe having a futuristic setting. Even then, it's a big if.

all three of your poll options suck...first of all, infinity ward is no more, whether or not that leaves out a mw3 or not is besides that, secondly, they didnt F anything up, they're the originators, treyarch are just the copycats working on what infinity ward created.. any decent gamer would know that, the treyarch cod's will never be as good as the IW cod's so don't go saying stuff like black ops 2 will be better cause IW F'd up, makes you sound like a little brat... personally i dont think we'll be seeing a third modern warfare, that's IW's legacy and since IW is no more i think they should leave it at that...they might make a third one if they think people arent sick of the whole modern warfare thing yet, but it'll never be the same quality of what cod4 and mw2 were.. im more excited about what the new studio Respawn Entertainment will do, its those IW guys that got the real talent.. as for cod, i think the next ones will also be made by treyarch, for now..Foxdies

Just to let you know, Infinity Ward isn't developing MW3 anymore, Activision appointed it to a new studio. Just fyi...

I would honestly like to see a Future Warfare. Not a "Halo" type of future where you shoot laser beams, but say 50-100 years from now. They could base the story off of the world fighting eachother for oil or water due to shriking supplies caused by population growth and consumption.We're still going to be using projectile ammunitions, but there's no reason you can't create some new guns that are better than what's offered compared to today's standards. Killstreaks go the same way (new planes, technology,etc.)

I wouldn't mind if they added things like lasers, invicibility camo, and what not (because they're researching it now if it's not already being used) as long as they didn't go over-board or it broke gameplay.

CoD: Caveman warfare? Those clubs better not be overpowered :twisted:

90% of the Infinit Ward crew is gone, so I wouldn't bank on a great game coming from there...

Slow down, Bubba, we'll have to wait and see what the next COD is! I don't understand why Activision has to put out there that a new Call of Duty game is in the works when one just got released.

Back on topic, a 'Future' Warfare game would be appropriate. Nothing too extravagant, but some sort of realistic depiction of what kinds of guns or vehicles the military will have for say 2100 or something. And explosions!

I'm interested and wondering what will come out from Respawn Entertainment's box... 8)

Next year will most likely be Modern Warfare 3, along with Sledgehammer's Action/Adventure.

I wish COD would just roll over and die. That way the developers could actually get creative and create something great as opposed to wringing out a new COD game every year.

If a new COD keeps getting made every year and keeps selling more and more each year (like it is now) until it destroys the very genre of FPS like Guitar Hero did rhythm games and every other FPS feels it has to be like COD to be great and we begin swimming in an endless ocean of mediocrity.......then I want you all to know that I f***ing called it!

As long as it contains something new I might look forward to a new game. Otherwise, none of the above.

Activision is turning this into a yearly iteration which make me wonder how long it will take for the quality to deteriorate. Or if they will reuse the same assets year after year and therefor make basically the same game over and over again.

Preferably a entirely new studio should step up, IW and Treyarch's development is too predictable now that COD is an annual franchise..

Total new graphics, new gameplay mechanics. Just like KillZone 2 future warfare in CoD style maybe..

personally, I'd prefer a Modern Warfare 3. I still wouldn't be in any rush to buy it on release though.
