Moderwarfare 2 servers down?

So i got a bit sick of playing single player and decided to switch to some of the very popular online play, i got to clicking on "find match" at which point it says "fetching playlists". The problem is that its stuck here, not the ps3 but the search. Are the servers down or somethign? or is it to do with my internet connection which works when i try it with killzone2.

same problem here, im in the uk btw........... worked fine for me yesterday and this morning but has recently broken again...

this happened to me once. i turned the console off, and restarted it.

There was an outtage in the US as well. Activision is working on a patch to fix it. They fixed it over here in less than 24 hours. I know it sucks, cause playing online is hottt sex! Just be a little patient guys. Hey, now you can start/finish the story mode!
