Hey! I just got the demo for this game and i have to say, i think it is pretty sweet. I am on the fence a little because when ever i fight, i usually die. I mean, it is so freaking hard! will i get better or will continue to fail miserably. Is the real game any different from the demo? Any help is appreciated

dont get mistaken, the game is hard as hell. but. as you get used to it, get into controls and systems it gets a bit easier (you get better armors that you can upgrade, weapons with bigger damage...). if you dont mind killing most of your nerves and you arent a quiter id suggest you the game. oh btw, if you have the option, playing with your friends is priceless

You'll get used to how tough it is, because all its going to do is get tougher. Its a fun game but it takes a lot of time to practice, you have to work at going farther in the game and thats why people spend about 500-1000 hours on it.

I have never played a MH before this one but I got it and its fantastic. I am seriously addicted to the game. If you can get it to play adhoc online via xlink kai or adhoc party its great. I play it almost every day just hit 80 hours on it and I am probably going to clock many many more. I would highly suggest it.

Yes the game is absolutely worth it, especially if you enjoyed the demo, that is just a sampeling of what you can do, you just have to not give up when things get hard and keep going. To the other person that mentioned adhoc party, yup I love that thing so fun being able to play 'online' with other people.

TC if you have a ps3 that is wired online, go to youtube and look for adhoc party tutorials and how to get a japanese account and you are all set!

MHF:U to me, is the best PSP game avaliable. If you liked the demo, I 100% recommend it.

The game is really tough, but like others have said, you do get used to it. The trick is to learn the ins and outs of all the monsters you come up against. After some practice you'll learn how best to avoid the different attacks and when/where it's best for you to strike.

And don't be afraid to look up some online guides or tips when things get too tough. There's alot of things the game doesn't tell you that can make things alot easier. (eg. monsters weak points, elemental weaknesses, weapon upgrade trees, etc.)

Two words: GET IT!! Lol, seriously this game owns. It's hard as hell sometimes but if you put the effort into it it becomes a rewarding experience. I can't recommend this game enough.
