More Batman: Arkham Asylum news !

I don't know if this was already posted before, but I'm getting way even more excited about this game. I've always wanted to read the comic of Arkham Asylum and we get the digital one and FREE ! Also the Challenge maps are also FREE ! Best news ever.

* Play as The Joker exclusively on PS3 - The Joker is available to play in eight Challenge Maps that will be available for download free of charge through PlayStation®Network to owners of the PS3 game

Am I the only one who doesn't find anything particularly special about this game? The demo was kind of fun, for a little bit at least. The controls were smooth but I have a feeling it would just get extremely boring.

Sweet as. I downloaded the demo off the store and justkept playing it over and over. I love the fighting, stealth, graphics and cutscenes!

The game is alot tamer than the graphic novel, from what I've seen, artwise and dialogue etc. The comic that comes with the game wont be the graphic novel

I wish i wasnt so broke lately... XD

Another game to add to my list

I've played the demo multiple times and I LOVE it! It's gets better with each playthrough because it never plays the same. It's a highly polished game, although I did notice that the graphics are a little choppy. That's not even an issue though. Pre-ordered and paid for. I can't wait to play the Joker Challenge Maps.

I'm really lovin all that. I might add this to my very small list of games that I buy day 1.

I'd say it is somewhat based on it, just they would have changed it up alittle to make it more appropriate for a game, the basic premise is there, joker trying to prove that batman is as crazy as they are, most the same villians are in it.

The novel is definitly more survival horror though like you said

It has the smoothest gameplay this year.

Unfortunately The Batarang is plastic. Sorry. I guess it's too much of a liability. I mean imagine the headlines the day after it's release. The media would be buzzing about how many people died, or were injured from an actual metal replica. LOL! I'd have to laugh maniacally.

I've asked the sales associates at my local Gamestop and they're all saying that the replica is made of ABS plastic as mentioned above. Of course Gamestop isn't the most credible source I know, but common sense should tell us that an actual metal Batarang is SCREAMING "LIABILITY".

I think id rather play it on the PS3 and get all the exclusive stuff and show that PS3 owners appreciate the extra effort and goodies they are giving.Kurushio

the game in my opinion still sucks. it plays just like the batman begins game which isn't a compliment. to me what bothers me most is how limited the game is everything is context sensitive, even the combat is. i'd like to make my own decision in the game not have them all laid out for me. im a huge batman fan, i just think we deserve better way better.

and all this stuff while cool and i support more content, just seems like a way to bribe people into getting the game. and theres been plenty of tiems where i've seen extra content added to the ps3 version to cover up a bad port, so far the extra content is awesome but it gives me an unsettling feeling about the game.
