I live in the UK and just go my preorder through but I have a few questions about the PS3 controller. Can someone help me out?

Firstly, how many controllers does the PS3 support? I've heard lots of different numbers, some say 2, others 7.

Secondly, how many do you get with the 60gb premium version? I think it's just one, but before I buy a second one I need to check.

Thirdly, how long does the battery last before I have to plug it in again?

I think I'm probably not the only one who wants to know this, so the answers to this might make a good FAQ too.

Hello from the UK, too! The PS3 supports seven controllers, you get one with it. As I'm waiting for the PS3, also, I can't answer the battery life question.

Ok, here's the thing about the PS3 controller.  The life of the battery is about 24 hours, depending on how many hours in a row you play it.  But trust me, it won't run out on you quickly.  Besides, you can always press & hold the PS button and it will show you the controller you're using, and it's battery life in the bottom left of the screen.  There can be up to 7 controllers, each one indicated by the lights that are turned on the controller. You know...the ones that are by the L1 button.  Oh, and when the battery is extremely low a light will flash, depending on the number controller that you have.  Both the 20 and 60 gig versions come with only 1 controller.

You can hold up to seven at the same time wirelessly, but you need to connect each one to your PS3 before using it. The 60 gig gives you just one, but more can be bought seperately. The life time on the controller is about 30 hours. There's a meter which tells you how many bars you have left. You can recharge it, it takes about two hours for a full charge. There's USB cable which you use to charge the controller, but it's short and you might want to buy and extender if you want to play and charge at the same time.

Any more questions?
