More expensive games....

It just occured to me...

Does those developers or distributors make less money on PS3 games? since Blue-ray disksare more expensive.

I was guessing that is probly one reason why those game developers seem to be lazy on improve game qualities on ports.

Blu-Ray discs are going up in production and are costing less. Eventually, they'll come down to the same retail price as DVDs. Also, the discs are bought in mass quantities by the producers, which means lower price per disc. The disc price is a very insignificant production cost.

Reminds me of when Xbots were telling everyone before the PS3 launched that games were going to cost $100-200 because of Blu-ray. I love these old rumors they are so fun to look back on now. Another classic "1080p is impossible"EmperorSupreme

remember this: 60 gigabytes is way to much for a game console. and. developers dont need 50GIGS its unessicary.
