Resistance 3. I just recently played a crack in time so I have had my fill of ratchet for awhile. It's nice that they are making a multiplayer ratchet. A lot of people wanted that, so even though it isn't high on my list, you can't say insomniac never listened to their fans.
It's another one of these praise fall of man threads and bash resistance for keeping most of things fall of man was and expanding it.
I would still love to know the major changes between fall of man and 2 that people speak of. Wow the weapon wheel was taken out, HUGE difference, it's not like there weren't plenty of times to pick up a different weapons throughout the levels. Plenty of bad guys had different weapons.
The scale and levels were bigger in R2 with more color. The locations had variety instead the old grey, brown and black interiors that made the levels all have a similar feel.
The biggest difference was the online co-op and the lack of campaign co-op. True they should have kept the offline co-op.
The story was crap in the first game as well. The narration of it was better, but the story in the cutscenes were dumb. The story itself is good, but you have to find and read those documents to get understand it.
Not liking resistance is fine, but to claim that the second one was a huge departure from the second is not accurate by any stretch.
