just look at the sales charts lol, alot hasnt changed wii still selling strong 360 had a good 1 million in holday sales ps3 had less sales then last year, so i d say no ,not that many more are buying one, sad but this is true, the 3rd system is your bad luck system ,,
this has been true for sega this has been true for nintendo and now sony,
will the trend continue on to microsoft? only time will tell but lets note ms has never held the lead for a single gen so not even ,
i like my ps3 'lol who cares if it selling? your playing yours thats all that matters
[QUOTE="shadowkiller11"][QUOTE="pyromaniac223"]PS3 sales have picked up, but so have the sales of the competition. I believe the PS3 was outsold 2:1 by the 360 this holiday season. Sony desperately needs a price drop, but they've already lost this generation.pyromaniac223they haven't lost this generation. however 360 did sell more this holiday season. At this point, yes, they've lost. Even if they overtake the 360 in sales near the end of the generation, think about how much marketshare they've lost. Um, yeah, that was the Holiday season alright......but, MS only have a 8.5% marketshare lead which can be attributed to being released a year early. Sony havent lost this gen, are you kidding me? Between the PS3 and PSP, Sony have sold 63 Mil. systems compared to Microsofts 27 Mil. Weak, dude, weak.

going to agree with pyromaniac223 on this one.
much of the playstation user base has migrated to the x360 due to a the cheaper price, that being the main reason most likely during this turbulent economical time, which results in a significant loss to the playstation userbase leading to the overall loss of this generation for sony, even if at the end of the year they have a few million more users than MS.
a lot of people realized that ps3 is better then xbox360 becouse you dont have to pay for online play, harddisk, PSN account etc. when xbox360 is realy more expensive then ps3 at the endTheKvazzyi do agree ^
