oh i didnt catch it, personally its not a big deal to me, dont get me wrong i would love to see a solid remake but i need more proof to the fact before i get excited. mabey at TGS!!

i don't understand remakes lol. i f the first was so great and good why would you want it to be redone it will only be worst, it can almost never live up to the original. personally i think they should only remake bad games and bad movies. if they were great to begin with there is no need to redo them. clarkportmanken

I agree that if the game was good to begin with then it should not be remade. But sometimes great things need to be remade to bring them into a new generation of gamers. My younger friends for example: I tell them how FFVII is one of the best games I've ever played and they should play it; but since they were too young to remember "bad" graphics (compared to today) then they will not touch it.

If it can be remade without a problem or changes that don't make sense then I say go for it.

I don't think it will be a remake. i think it will be something like wipeout hd which would be better than a remake because this why they don't mess anything up. then just sell it on psn. it would sell like hot cake still and i bet a few people would by a ps 3 just for this.GARRYTH

what i would like to see in a remake is revamped graphics (like the tech demo) and maybe a few things they supposidly left out of the original. but some new materia's and weapons would be a great add that would keep the game true to its nature. mabey a few more side quests more to do in the casino and more weapons to fight(omega, ruby). nothing mayjor.
