Now you've got more reason to be a proud owner of PS3. Beside being the first platform to support Folding@home and the best BR player out in the market right now, PS3's getting much broader recognition in the academic and research field. Univ. of Massachusetts Dartmouth will be linking up 16 PS3s to simulate black hole collusion, and US Air Force will be purchasing whooping 300 units for "technology assessment."
Madness? This is PS3.

On the side note, anybody thinking Air Force would be buying 300 HDTVs for "assessment" as well?
