First off - Whoah, you need to proof read your posts. :P
Second - The Story Mode in Mortal Kombat is done in chapters and in each chapter you assume the role of a different character, not just "Johnny Cash". You should get this game.
Here is how the campaign plays out:
Johnny Cage vs Reptile (+ 500 Koins)
Mortal Kombat 2 Tournament
Mortal Kombat 3 Tournament
it definitely is as an overall package, but a lot of the story mode fights are STUPIDLY cheap, so I tend to caution players away if they only want the game for the story mode... but seriously, who the hell would that even be?Get the game, every penny you pay for it is worth it. At first I kinda regret buying it because I sucked at it, but yeah the game is worth it :)

I just find the nature of the 2v1 fights to be unfair. Especially Shang Tsung and Gorn Chi (I think those are the names... the old man who runs the first tourney and the shaman who likes like Kratos)... that one pissed me off.Get the game, every penny you pay for it is worth it. Ok I have been debating getting this all weekend and this week so far but I think I am finally sold. After work today I am going to purchase my first mortal combat since Sega genesis. How long would you say the story mode lasts? I realize it depends on difficulty/skill level but just a rough guesstimate. Also can you replay it later on if you want to on a different difficulty? Finally how exactly does the ladder mode work? Do you just keep going and going? Or is it like the 20 level fights of old? Thanks in advanceAdamRiggs4
This was also my first Mortal Kombat since Ps2.
The story mode is pretty entertatining, I'm still playing the Story Mode I got the game on launch day and still going on with me. I'm not exactly sue with the replay. And the ladder still works the same with Shao Kahn in as the last dude :)
the story mode i would say is about 5 to 7 hours i believe. and yes you can redo it on every difficulty, easy, begineer, medium, hard and expert. so that is lots of replay value.
the ladder is 10 match the last 3 ares mini bosses and boss.
you can also do tag ladder.
also the challenge tower has 300 missions. that is another 6/7 hours at least of play
also there is test your might. strike, luck...
and last the online feature of course
overall excellent game 9.5/10
Here is how the campaign plays out:
wow this sure spoils the game pretty much , glad that ive finished all of that alreadyok thanks for all the replies, yes i saw my mistake lol. 1 thing i am Australian so if i order it from a UK store http://www.ozgameshop.com/(yes it is a UK store despite the name) will i have any problems, like does PSN disable it, no online play or is there any other problems i will get for ordering it in Australia?

How does listing the order of fights spoil the game? It's a fighting game. It's not like I just told you the end of God Of War or Bioshock. Besides, the story mode is just one aspect of the game. There are many other things to explore in this game.
