Most Consistent & Inconsistent PlayStation Series?

Most Consistent: Assassin's Creed. I'm not sure if it's in a good way or a bad way, but each game just feels to retain the same formula, with a few added bonuses.

Most Inconsistent: Final Fantasy. Must I explain? They change up lots of stuff in every Final Fantasy game, for better or for worse - XIII is an example of where they went wrong.

Hmmm... I think the most consistent is Resident Evil: all games on the main series (exept Zero) were released to it, all they all rock

The most inconsistent would probably be either Crash Bandicoot or Spyro the Dragon. They shined on the PS1 but just became incresingly worse on the PS2 and PS3

Socom Confrontation went wrong......other Socoms by zipper were good though.
