What do you think is the most epic game of all time.
I say Fallout 3. Just the sheer magnitude of the story and the fallout lore that has built up created a work of art

I guess you mean out of PS3 games considering it's in the PlayStation 3 forum.
PS3: Metal Gear Solid 4
All consoles: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Without doubt i would say the Metal Gear Solid series, but i see a very strong arguement in god of war as well.
NES=Contra,yo-noid
SNES=Super Mario all-stars/super mario world
PSone=RE, MGS, crash bandicot
ps2=MGS2 and 3,
ps3=Heavenly sword, MGS4, KZ2
So many games to choose...
Either the Warcraft series, Chrono Cross/Trigger, or Metal Gear Solid series for me
MGS4 without a doubt for me. *spoilers* The moment at the end of the game where you're mashing the x button and crawling down the radioactive hall is - in my personal opinion - the most memorable, most epic moment in the history of gaming. 9.5 out of 10 game for me.
Shadow of the Collosus
PS3 Heavenly Sword
I think God of War 3 will surpass every game before it when its released though
PS3 only: MGS4
Multiple Ports: Dead Space (Don't know why I just enjoyed it a lot more than my other PS3 games)
All-Time (all consoles): Spyro the Dragon

I like Fallout 3 - it's a GOOD game. But, the most epic of all time? I guess it's your opinion, but I can't see how it ranks anywhere near that.
I'll cop out and say OOT. It's the game that got me into gamin. That and Resident Evil 4 are my two favorite games.
Well, trusting my good friend hazelnutman, if the word EPIC was tangible, then it comes packaged with Shadow of the Colossus. Too bad I can't find the game anywhere :(BenderUnit22
Look no more.
MGS4 is epic, despite the fact that it pretty much sucks in the gameplay department, and the Medievil games are about as epic as it gets.
The character models and voice acting in Fallout 3 are so bad that it's impossible to care about the story.
Tikicobra
... I thought the character models were quite good. The only thing I hated was the father's voice and the animations. The create a character could have been a little better. But, some of the characters, like Harkness, Armitage and Vance showed off what you could do with a character if you go the look right in that game.
Killzone 2! lmfao just kidding it was good though but not really the most epic. I'm going to say God of War III even though it's not out lmfao but the way the 2nd one ended oh man the ending for the 3rd will be amazing can't wait.
As for now I'd say MGS4 or Zelda ocarina of time.
Oblivion, the sheer scale of amazement I had was 10x more than Fallout 3. So much more two do, some beautiful scenery and epic battles.What do you think is the most epic game of all time.

heroic; majestic; impressively great
that's one definition of "epic"
I would say some of the most epic moments in gaming for me have been:
The final boss of the "true ending" in Persona 4.
A thirsty river quest in Guild Wars: Prophecies.
Taking down Princess the boar for the first time as a level 6 (?) warrior in World of Warcraft...it was my first MMO boss experience
Nearly any battle in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes
Defending a town in World War 2 Online
Shadow of the Colussus boss fights
Some Baldur's Gate 2 fights
Some Morrowind vampire fights
Some bosses, or especially that underground cult, in Planescape: Torment
Killing the beast in The Witcher
Sinking a battleship in Silent Hunter 3
Last mission in Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 was fun, but not really epic
Figthing MANY bosses in Diablo 1 and Diablo 2...especially a couple in Diablo 2
Looking back, though, the winners are all PC games...specifically MMOs...specifically Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, sometough Ultima Online fights,World of Warcraft, Guild Wars and World War 2 Online.
Single player is a mix of Morrowind, Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate, The Witcher, Diablo 1 and 2...
I guess when I am trembling after a fight in a game from adrenaline then that is the measure...using that standard, here are the true winners:
Vanguard: Saga of Heroes
This game is AWESOME because dying really sucks (loss of xp). When you are in a group...in a confined space...if ONE PARTY MEMBER makes a wrong move, then you are screwed. I never did many raids in World of Warcraft...but Vanguard, especially around launch...bugs and all...delivered some really intense fights.
Ultima Online
Again, dying sucks in Ultima Online. You can lose gear/items (you can bind a couple of things but it does suck). There were so many great fights that felt like there was really a lot of risk involved.
Persona 4
Single player games...where you can just load a stupid saved game and try the fight over will never match the intensity of an MMO. Yet there were two boss fights in Persona 4 that took me around an hour EACH...and one wrong move would kill the party...it really delivered some outstanding and epic single player fights.
Guild Wars
This game just required a lot of tactics and timing...you need a plan and to work together as a team.
Well if you are reffering to the PS3 only, then I'll easily say MGS4. As for All Time, that is a tough tie between Legend of Zelda: A Link To the Past and MGS4.
Nothing comes close to Elder Scrolls Oblivion when describing epicness... Marching through Bruma side-by-side with Martin Septim, the whole town cheering you on, then rush into battle and show some ownage...
