ALot of people will most likely say R:Fom, just because motorstorm doesn't have a lot to do outside of online play, personally i like Motorstorms online better, especially after 1.2. But RFom is way better offline, the multiplayer is addictive yes, but i'm just not into as much as i was even 3 months ago.
They both are the most fun I've had playing games in a long time and I play a lot. Graphics: Motorstorm just has so many holy sh*t moments and visuals to go with them. Motorstorm physics are amazing. Overall and Online: R:RoM because it has lots of modes and online works better than motorstorm.
I have both, got em both with my PS3, both MUST HAVE titles. I'm keeping em too, theyre not leaving to an ebgames or anything...however I find that I enjoy playing Resistance Online since I'm kinda good at it...but in MOtorstorm I see myself coming in 7 or 8 every time online :D . Just gotta get better, that's all. Pick up both!
I haven't even looked at the results and I know this is a runaway RFOM winner. MotorStorm was a nice graphical demonstration of what the PS3 can do, but it was an incomplete game. No split screen, no time trial, no vehicle customization, a limited category of vehicles, etc. I'm talking when it was released and not the PSN updates. RFOM had it all. Innovative weapons, online play, it was a very long single player campaign, and the only downside I can see is that there was a limited variety of enemies. It's still RFOM as the clear winner. It should've been AAA.
I say Motorstorm, but Im biased in that I don't like FPS's. Also ask this question again in a year when all the updates are out, new cars and tracks, and new mappacks for Resistance. The answer may change.
resistance pwns motorstorm by a long shot. y cuz i like FPS more and the multiplayer on resistance is incredible. i got bored of motorstorm surprisingly quickly. i still play motorstorm but like 1 every month. i play resistance whenever i can. im not saying motorstorms a bad game. and time attack definitely makes it better.
well, Imma have to say Motorstorm. Its just such a fun game. Resistance is cool and all but I just don't play it online that much anymore. I mainly play a chapter or 2 of the story just for the hell of it every now and then. Also, now that Motorstorm is getting add on content for free, things look even better for it.
I would go hands down with Motorstorm, who doesn't like its crash scenes? and Visuals? And the online racing is very good. And i also like its singleplayer, just becauses its fun to mess with the other cars :P. But, R:FoM does have a nice online style, but it got old for me.
Resistance is deeper, and it has offline splitscreen multiplayer. There's nothing like playing through the story on co-op with a buddy or a 4 player free-for-all deathmatch. Motorstorm has no splitscreen multiplayer and the game is pretty bare-bones as far as features go.
