ok....i need some advice....i was looking forward to this game coming out....but i dunno ive been thinking...what really make me want to buy this game? because i just cant really see how this game can be more fun than any other racing games....infact....other racing games have like....their own style like carbon has police chases...and RR has crazy speed and drifts and good online....

what makes motorstorm different from the other racing games? cause i still want to buy it...its just i dont wanna waste money on a game where it only last me like a week where i could just rent it

I'm in AUS and my local game shop has imported a ps3 and the japan version of Motorstorm, I go down there once a week to play it until I get mine march 23rd....

IT IS THE MOST KICK ASS GAME ive played in a fair while. It's the free game im choosing with my pre-order :)

Personally besides the graphics looking good. I don't see this game being that fun. Stuff like this is more for arcades.

I'm getting this game just to check it out more then anything. Theres been so much hype around it I thought i'd see if if it really warrents it. If I don't like it then its going straight on Ebay.

I'm in AUS and my local game shop has imported a ps3 and the japan version of Motorstorm, I go down there once a week to play it until I get mine march 23rd....

well.. if you're unsure... you always got the demo. and the demo is rather kick ass. and for free? it's definetly worth a peep.

when i first fell off the cliff in the motostorm demo.. the sense of free fall was there. it was an experience to be sure.

I'm definetly looking forward to this game.

i agree. its kinda like burnout offroad. when you're on bikes, you can hit the action button to punch people too. i honestly didn't think would like it, but after i played the demo, i'm definitely getting it.

Motorstorm's style would probably be the crazy action going on, people flipping each other off, ramming, crashing while speeding around a rock festival. Lots of bounciness (physics ftw!), jumps, muds, explossions. And let's not forget: it looks fantastic, which I think is important for a racer. To me, this game has a very distinctive style both visually and what gameplay seems to have to offer. I'll certainly get it along with the PS3 when it launches here in Europe.

Motorstorm is intensely complicated game, the physics make it umpredictable, every time you race a track it gauranteed to be a different experience. the AI is intended to be superior and adjust to the reall time deformation of the track which ads to the unpredictability of the races. And then of course there's the incredible graphics which are all sorts of bad ass.

We can do tournaments online, though. I mean the split screen wont hit hard. I mean even if we can't play our friends online at least we can still do multiplayer online. Now if they took that away we'd have a problem.

i hope the mic support is good compared to recent reports that the mic support is poor... it could be wicked to punch somoen off there bike and hear them complina clearly instead of cutting in and out all the time

No offline multiplayer is whats gonna hit the game hardest, i believe the reviewers will be pointing this out alot. Still this game is going to rock :)

The devs of Motorstorm said that they will add what the fans want with downloadable content, so we'll see. It actually hurts the Japanese version much more, since it doesn't have online either.

About the demo, I don't know if you checked the tracks, but the demo has the worse track in the game. The others are big with lots of different passages and such. It looks much better.

online multiplayer is what got me from the start. getting a group of guys together and racing in the mud is gonna be a blast. i love off road racers and this one looks and feels great (from the demo)..... i cant wait

The more and more I see this game in action makes me want it that much more!!Sure it's a racing game but how many racing games out there look and play such as this one? You can't compare it to just one particular racing title and that's what intrigues me. When I saw the target video at E3 a few years ago I thought to myself, "There's no way in hell they could pull that off!" But now having played the demo a million times, I want more. The most exciting thing is this: No two races are alike and that's what everyone wants out of a videogame, spontaneity, great controls, and high replay value. March 6th will be the day of (w)reckoning.........

This is the closest we'll get to Road Rash until the new one arrives of course minus the weapons. Besides the weapons the next best thing in that game was the crashes that threw your biker 300 feet away from your motorcycle only for you to walk back and it explodes on you. LMFAO

I have a reviewer copy, It's very good. It's pretty fun but can be hard sometimes, love the bike competition where you can whack everybody you pass but becareful not to get whack too. There are 21 event tickets to play but only 8 tracks. Each track have different route, Some routes are meant for big car and some are meant for lighter vechile like bike and ATV. I love to light vehicle, it's all about flying and boosting. Online wise, I can't test it since everytime I went online 0 player in there. Will looking forward to play you all.

I was wondering if you have played the demo? Do you generally enjoy racing games?

I've been playing the demo since it's release and it's Really fun! The Demo only lets you play on 1 track with a very limited choice of vehicles and I have not grown tied of it at all. I really enjoy it, and play it often. I can't wait for the full game to come out.

The release date is so close now I can almost taste the Mud lol.

there was an interview made on psu and they stated they jsut tweaked little stuff with graphics, they focused on teh development of online

Very fast paced. Great graphics, very well designed tracks. A varied amount of vehicles. ONLINE! Omg thats going to be intense. Did I mention online?

I have only seen videos of this game,but how good does the graphics look when playing it,are they much better than the graphics of say project gothem 3 on the 360.

Yup its all about the online for me as well. Most people get upset if you slam into them into a wall to try and take the lead this game is all about carnage and destruction. So I can't wait to cause as much havoc as i possibly can online.
