Let me preface this by saying I've only played the demo. And... I'm not really into racing games to begin with. But I found the demo fun, in shorts spurts. I couldn't imagine myself getting so into it I played for hours at a time. Yes, the soundtrack was cool, but the course I played on was rather short.
And from the media on the game, those were the main complaints -- too short (what are there, 5 tracks?), not enough variety. Decent online, but unfulfilling single player.
I suppose the important thing is that you love it.You may be the demographic for the game, or it just clicked with you. But those arethe reasons I've gathered.
I still play Motorstorm online quite abit.
Its great fun :)
And I'm not even that big of a racing fan, I only really like Motorstorm and the Burnout & Gran Turismo series
MotorStorm is indeed great. But it lacks the damn offline multiplayer! I like MotorStorm and I'm not into racing games, so it means MotorStorm is very good :orogerjak
No need for me to elaborate, thanks RogerJak.
I agree motorstorm does lack credit, it's visuals are stunning this game is the game i use to show off the ps3's power to my xbox 360 fan boy mates . lets just say they don't like it .......
a larger music soundtrack and a few more tracks would have toped it off real nice. and where did that "in car view" go? we all saw it in the demo video remember the windscreen wipers cleaning off the dirt that looked crazy!
