Motorstorm more popular in EU(PAL)

Half million sold in PAL territories vs around 300k in NA. Any thoughts?

The point is not if it is or not a great game(we all know that it is) but i found it interesting that it is selling almost on par with Resistance here in EU(to be more politically correct PAL territories). Resistance sold around 600k, Motorstorm 500k, while in US Resistance is around 700k, Motorstorm 280k-300k.
