Multiplayer COD:WaW on PS3

Just a question regarding multiplayer, can I link up and play (COD)with some mates that live in europe ? Tried a couple of nights ago but kept getting an error stating that "The game is no longer available..." or something like that. I could see them in the lobby but could not get a game going together....Dont have a problem when I play with people from Oz apart from the occasional slow connection. Is this a PS3-Network region thing or is it just my lack of intelligence?

As far as the online issue, I don't think it matters where you are cause I've played people from England. I even have trouble connecting to my neighbors most of the time, just keep trying I guess..

i live in DC and i have no problem playing with mates from back in the UK,

first of all i wanna thank you for not saying COD5...it just annoys me for some reason...

anyway its not your lack of intelligence, its just it does that at times the PS3 i mean,.....yet no there is no region limit

I get that error ALOT. You just have to keep trying and eventually it'll work.
