i really hate post like these, there has been nothing confirmed for multiplayer yet. if there is it will most likely be co-op which would be awesome. there are plenty of game that focus more on single player then multiplayer for example MGS4. Unchharted will be just as good or better then the first one with the addition of co-op. even if they do make a multiplayer uncharted is meant to be played for a good story and action, stop making things up just to make a post. Am I the only one that is not really excited about this news??? The single player in Uncharted was excellent and deserved the $60 by itself. I can't really imagine them turning that game into multiplayer... co-op could be fun since it sounds like it's not being tacked on to the single player game, hopefully a la Resistance 2. But I'm not so sure about an all out multiplayer mode. My primary concern is that I hope the single player game doesn't suffer from the resources they're allocating to add a multiplayer component.

Please read the entire thread before jumping to conclusions... I posted a link to the story. So clearly, I'm not making anything up. Just as I said, the NDA expires on Monday. And today Sony announced some 'electrifying' announcements coming out on Monday regarding inFamous and Uncharted 2. Multiple sources broke this news... there's no reason to believe it's not true.
Furthermore, you're missing the point. As I stated, my concern is that the quality of the single player WILL NOT be as good as the first one b/c of a focus on multiplayer. I'm not saying that I'm right... we won't know until the game comes out. But it is pretty much a fact that Uncharted did not need multiplayer, it was a great game on it's own... and the reviews said so themselves. Based on the gameplay, I could see co-op working. But be serious, how the hell would competitive multiplayer work in the Uncharted universe??? I can't see them pulling that off without coming across cheesy... and once again, that wouldn't even bother me so long as the single player game doesn't suffer for it. My only concern is that the sp game MAY suffer for it.
