Ok, I know there is this big ongoing thing about some bigger RPGs for the 360 spanning several disc and that its just showing that the 360 should have went with a next gen format so they would have had more disc space for games, but is it really all that bad? I mean, to me it reminds me of the good days when I would put in a big rpgs for my playstation and when I finally got to the end of disc 1 I was like "YES! I'm getting somewhere I finally get to put in disc 2!" Now dont get me wrong I have nothing against next gen format after all I did go out and buy a HD-DVD addon for my 360 plus a Samsung Blu-ray player... yes, I was against the ps3 that much, and yes I realize I should have bought a ps3 and probably will be getting one very soon. But to me like I stated earlier, changing disc just makes me feel like I've accomplished something... is their anyone here that agrees with me?

Nope! I personaly HATE load times with a vengence, They are short enough to keep you at your console/PC but long enough (by majority) to let boredome creep in. Staring at a static screen with maybe enough time to sprint to the toilet/kettle/Larder depending on the game is very distracting and i'd rather just seamelessy play from the secondI want to 'till the second I press Pause andTHEN wander to the kettle/toilet/larder. Long live the instant loading CART!

I agree! I'm a fan of RPG's especially from times of the PS1 games like Xenogears, FFVII, Legend of Dragoons, and so fourth. However, a blueray is enough to fit a crapload of data, and I mean crapload!

Switching discs is fun because it gives you a sense of accomplishment. But seeing life in blueray changed my world.. o_O

I was not talking about load times... we all hate that, just the simple fact of changing disc... and those people that hate it your probably just to lazy to get your fat arse out of your seat! :p

Why would we want old technology this being DVD or DVD9 when there is something much better that's out now this being Blu-Ray. The reason I will never own the other console.

Remember the disc read errors of the PS's and PS2's? I blame Monster Rancher and multi-disc RPG's.

I am basically indifferent to switching discs. But blu-ray has great benefits like scratch resistant surfaces and (I think) faster load times.

No. I remember back to the old Amiga 500. Escape from monkey island which had about 14 discs to change around every 5mins.The fewer discs the better. Theres also the fact that BD has huge storage space. You can fit HUGE games on it without needing a second disc.

Changing the disc may give you a sense of accomplishment but if that's your argument for why you want multiple discs maybe you should put a game in CDs and then you can have each checkpoint on a disc. TONS of ACCOMPLISHMENT!

I'm not defening the 360, considering I'm a supporter over blu-ray not HD-DVD. But as for gaming is Blu-ray that great? I mean most of the games on the PS3 have to be Downloaded onto the hard-drive just to speed up load times. Take DMC for example 5gigs for a game on a console? I thought we switched to console to get away from the "Computer" tech problems like not having enough disk space?

As for the above statement about having to change a disc every 5 minutes you dont do that with RPGs u go from disc 1 to 2 never back and forth...

The 5 gigs on DMC is to eliminate load times, not speed them up. I'd take that any day.

As for most of the games having to be downloaded, to my knowledge Oblivion was the only other one with a large save file and this can be deleted when you're not playing the game if you want. The rest have been barely a megabyte if that.
