Ok now you probably have never heard of Brave Fencer Musashi, but its a PSX from 1998, and it had voice acting. Which was pretty amazing for its time. It was a well thought out story, with collossal bosses, and I can't begin to name them off. You could absorb powers from enemies, it just had almost everything in it. It is just about one of the most epic games I've played, even rivaling the games today in terms of that.
However, there was a godawful sequel, which seemingly Tetsuya Nomura had no hand in this time. It wasn't Musashi, not even close to the old one.
Which is why I feel that, since Square seemingly plans more remakes and sequels, I think this series deserves a better look. This was very action oriented, and heck, if updated as a sequel or remake to Ps3 standards, even cell-shaded, I know it'll look great. I'm not so sure of selling though, in fact, forget cell shaded, it didn't work for the Ps2 version. In fact, keep it like the original, update them if need be.
The humor and absolute cheesiness while battling epic bosses and on an epic quest, was just a phenomenal experience. Especially when you compare it to the games we have now, 50cent rapper games ugh...
So what do you think? Should Musashi be given one more chance to take down the Thirstquencher Empire?
