[MUST READ] playstation 4 aka PS CLOUD [MUST READ]

According to PRNews, Sony has trademarked the name "PS CLOUD", and a further look into it you will see the domain name "playstationcloud.com" is taken.

So if processing power is provided over servers, the PS4 would be a paper weight after the servers get shut down. Not a good idea.

From what I read in the link it seems like cloud software would be line Onlive, everything is serverside. I could be wrong though.

Hell, even "digital distribution only" is a far stretch right now. At our current rate. Maybe for a few. But not for a mass population.

It's the message I've been putting out since they came here with that "OnLive" crap. Because it's "new"! ooooo! aaahhh! Completely dismissing the fact that it's unrealistic for the next 15 years at least (unless something drastic happens).

If a homeless guy can have a 20mps wireless connection for free. Then I'll believe it.:lol:

This CLOUD thing doesn't necessarely mean its a new system, they say that Cloud technology was behing Windows, Azure and XBOX live online thingy, it is probably software, i dont believe it has anything to do with Hardware or a new system

that better not be the ps4! i still haven't got a ps3 :(

Everyone seems to think that just because Sony said the PS3 hasn't used its full potential yet, it means it will be out for 10 years as the latest system for Sony. Comon! I can make a safe bet that Sony is already planning on the PS4.. ATLEAST.
