MUST SEE: Prince of Persia 4 Screenshots--Your Thoughts? (New updates!!)

I really like the design and graphics of this game. The cell shading is cool and adds a more comic-adventure kind of feeling to it, but makes it look sorta 2-D and too cartoony :? I also don't really like how the Prince wears sandals, it would be cooler if he wore shoes or something. But his blue and red scarf thing makes him look awesome! I really like his partner, "Elika"... She's pretty and cool. and does anyone know what's the story behind the Prince's claw? If anyone has more information or screenshots, please post them here! :D Feel free to share your thoughts about these pictures :)

And by the way, even though you guys might not like the cel-shading, it's not as exaggerated as you think. In the trailer of the game, there isn't this much cel-shading.

Wow, I'm surprizingly much more excited about this game than anyone in GS :P I'd buy this game if I had to play it upside-down and inside-out! :D By the way, for the people who have seen the latest trailer, it said "Holiday 2008" does this mean "summer" holiday, or "winter" holiday?amirbrandon

While I am a huge Prince of Persia fan, so I will automatically give this game the benefit of the doubt, the art direction will have to grow on me. Its sort of like Nintendo going from the look of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask to the Windwaker, it will just take some time to get use to. Though I'm not so sure about the whole partner thing, I really need to see some gameplay to make a call on that, but right now, I'm not to high on it.Sepewrath

What do you mean you're not sure about the "partner thing"? Didn't the Prince have Farah in Sands of Time and The Two Thrones?

Yeah but that was temporary, I can deal with that no problem, this girl is apparently there the whole time, I mean every jump, every fight, she's always there. Farah was never around like that.

dude, I just took the stock wallpaper, cropped it to sig size and put text on it. As for the wallpaper you can probably get it anywhere, but I got it here on gamespot. Search-->Prince of Persia 4-->Images-->Download:roll:

Meh, i don't really mind them, it's something new that we might actually like. But if you watch the video i posted above, it says something about the new fighting style... It's mostly going to me 1 on 1 battles or something. Once again, something new, but also something we can get used to! :)

No, this may aswell be an entirely new game. You wont be able to rewind time. That was only cool for 5 minutes anyway
