mvp baseball vs. the show

mlb the show has quickly become the best baseball game on the market, every ps3 owner that is a baseball fan knows that this is the game to get. however mvp 2005 is still considered the best baseball game ever made by a lot of people. if mvp 2010 came out next year, how many of you would make the switch back, and leave the show behind?

Never. MLB 09 the show has something about it that makes it the best no matter what.

MVP 2005 was absolutely incredible. Up until the time I started playing the show I would still go back to it from time to time since the 2k series definitely left something to be desired. It is hard to compare it to a game out right now, though, but I would have to give the edge to the show just because it's what's out now and who knows how an MVP would be able to do today. I'm not sure if EA would be able to release another baseball game anytime soon, but if they did I would definitely give it a rent. I would have to think, though, that for it being it's first year back in the market, and since the show has had so much time to develop and really perfect itself, it would still be the go to baseball game for a few years. This would obviously only be the case for ps3 owners, while on the 360 EA would be able to blow 2k out of the water with even just a mediocre first game back.

mlb 09 is incredible...mvp 05 was great too but personally i think the greatest baseball game of all time is high heat 2002...the graphics were horrible but the game itself is phenomenal i suggest that if u can find this game on the cheap check it out.
