Expansion implies utilizing the original game in every way, and then some.

None of the maps are returning, for now that is.

Only about a good 20% of the guns in the original MW are confirmed.

New story, Spec Ops, new / bigger maps, more guns, different factions.

Almost seems like a completely new sequel to me.

Did you complain that The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask was an expansion of Ocarina of Time, as well?

The campaign better be over 5 hours, it's no excuse to be that short, most shooters I've played this gen were longer than this game.

While i agree that the campaign should be more than 5 hours, the FPS genre is essentially MP driven; and in that regard, i think MW2 will deliver.

but yes, once again, i would like to have a longer SP experience.

i haven't been following any news about MW2 other than the ones about its MP...

I did watch that interview with R. Bowling, but if he said anything about the SP i must have missed it.

Otherwise, i really wouldn't know...
