MW2 vs MAG

Which one from these you are going to buy?

I'm with MAG.It has massive MP.256 MP thats awesome.

MAG looks like a mess. Terrible graphics, scree tearing, bad animations, etc. Ughh

MW2 + single player = I'll buy it.

MAG - single player = I won't buy it.

Seeing as I don't care for online, MAG would be a pointless purchase for me.

This is easy if anyone was lucky enough to get into the MAG beta. The second I stepped into it, is the second MW2 fell off my radar.

MAG is gonna open alot of eyes when it finally hits us. MW2 is just gonna be the same rehash from the same COD series we've been getting for years. generic and unfullfilling

So far my high hopes for MAG has died. Yes, the 256 player battles could be revolutionary, but if you watch the actual gameplay, it's just a mediocre game with mediocre mechanics and mediocre graphics, and, therefore, mediocre fun. Generic shooters ftl.LiftedHeadshot

CoD4 was a generic shooter too.

Getting MW2 for sure, still undecided about MAG, hope I get a chance to try out the beta.

Fanboys will say MAG will be the better game, but I guarantee you that MW2 will recieve more criticial acclaim, and will be in the running for GotY. I doubt MAG will.

I feel that the ONLY reason people are hyped for MAG to begin with is because of the number of people possible in one match. Look at TC's post. That's why he's looking forward to the game. Many others both on this board and SW have also stated the same thing. There's no problem with that, of course, but let's say MAG had a maximum of only 20 players in a match. What would be the reason(s) why people were excited for the game then?

Listen, I'm not saying MAG will be bad, but to me, it looks like just another average FPS, only with the possibility for way more players in a match. I'll pass on it, and buy a game I know will be great, and that's MW2.

If MW2 turns into a grenade-fest like CoD4, then I doubt I'll play it for very long. MAG looks like it has the right mix of tactics and action, so I'm really looking forward to it. If it comes with the official PS headset, then I'll probably pick it up since my Bluetooth set is crapping out after 5+ years.

mag looks awful mw2 all the way but ill be buying it for pc as i do for all multiplatform games even tho i love killzone and resistence if they where on pc id like them more.

even though im gettin both, im abit more excited for MAG then MW2. cuz MW2 looks just like the first one, nothin new besides maps and few weapons and besides im excited to see how mag will turn out since its a new ip and somethin never done before with 256 playersJoKeR_421

Get some better SP game, borderlands is comming out soon, it has like a couple of million of guns and is just like fallout 3, also you can play COOP with friends...
Or get some other better SP game then MW2

There is nothing tactical about 256 players online RUNNING AND GUNNING. MW2 i think will be bttr than MAG. 256 players at first got my attention but then i realize its going to be chaotic and a mess wit to many people playin at one time and plus there is alwaysLAG in any online game no matter what !!!

I didn't, and it's not.

I enjoy the campaign in CoD games, and I'm not an online gamer. I don't know how I can be any more clear.

It's not like i'm writing mag off, but i don't see it being better than MW2... Furthermore, its highly probable that MW2 won't even be the best FPS on the list of shooters scheduled for release in the next 4-5 months (even if it will turn out to be the most popular pick...), and that's coming from a big CoD4 fan.

and if that turns out to be the case, MAG will be the least of my desires...

Haven't played MAG but unless it does something different with the 256 players then MW2 will be better. Even though COD has it's issues it's still a good game and MW2 looks like it'll be even better and more rewards will be given to keep players interested.

MW2, mag is really all about the amount of players other than that its not really that different to BF and to the people who say mag is tatical i think you'll be dissapointed its not really that tatical at all andI would know ive played it.

Both games are generic in the sense that they are FPS.

MW2 holds graphics over MAG, but MAG has large scale battles.

MW2 is all about close quarters, running and gunning.

MAG is about tactics, wither people say otherwise. If you don't work as a team, and do your own thing, you get less experience.

MW2 has a perk system.

MAG has a skill tier, using skill points you gain through leveling up.

MW2 has a cl@ss selection.

MAG has a character customization screen.

MW2 comes out in November.

MAG comes out in January.



2 different games, both First Person Shooters. Each with their own strengths and weaknesses. And with the release dates 2 months apart, just play both and flaming each other.

Most of the people making issues about MAG are 360 owners, so their opinion doesn't count.
