Hmm improvements

1. Undid the whole "Grenade Launcher takes up 17 attachments slots from Black Ops" (exaggerating for effect)

2. Elite (although could be better)

3. Default to Multiplayer menu on start-up.

4. More game modes (Kill Confirmed, Team Defender, more Hardcore varieties)

5. Somewhat reduced melee lunge.

6. Trophy System (blocks basically everything)

-Support Streak so people who are constantly getting killed can still help their team, in turn making tdm matches actually worth playing (and finishing) as opposed to MW2's lopsided matches. -Even though I kind of liked it, they got rid of infinite sprint. -Maps are overall better than MW2. -Kill confirmed is a great new addition. (I only play real CoD's so my comparisons are only compared to MW2)

Not really, I played the mode and I believe the main purpose of it was to combat camping....it didnt work.

People get a kill and camp in a corner watching the dog tag and just keep waiting for the next guy to come.

I ran into so many people wtaching thier teammates die and not grab thier dog tag, instead they sit and watch the whole the time for a kill. Beats the purpose.

I am actually looking forward to the unique gameplay Ghost Recon Future Soldier will have to offer, if not unique then a little twist on squad gameplay.

2. New Killstreak setup - They changed the killstreak setup and it's much better than before in almost everyone's opinion.

3. Get hackers and glitchers banned - What hackers..what glitchers..? Besides the slide glitch which isn't a big deal at all.. only people who trickshot know about it and is very, very hard to do.

4. Balanced weapons - Don't know what to say here.. this is the most balanced CoD game since CoD4

5. Much improved Spec ops co-op - No clue how they could improve it...

Now, give me your list of(if any)improvents for MW3's MP.(MW3 FANS ONLY PLEASE):)

I think mw3 is a really good game some improvments are:

New game modes kill confirmed is brilliant

Seems a lot more balanced

I like lvling guns up till there gold.

I would agree not much has changed for the £45 pricetag but its a solid multiplayer experience.

i'm a fan too. well, actually i stopped playing after CoD4, but only because they took out dedicated servers on pc. otherwise the franchise has been golden for me. after these few years i'm all set to step back into Modern Warfare and finish the fight with Captain Price. the changes and improvements will no doubt be exciting for me :)

Well i cant front. the game is a big improvement over mw2 in alot of ways but for me it suffers from inconsistant hit detection issues and stupid lag! that and the abundance of campers is what really holds this game back from being great.. btw they need to nerf the type 95. wouldnt you agree?

BTW to any fellow youtubers out there, i'd like you to check out my channel if you have the spare time. i'm really trying to get into the commentating side of things, and i'm planning an epic teabag montage in time for the holidays :D .. thanks in advance ;)

It would be silly for me not to admit it, but at the same time the same thing could be said about "ANY" long running series.;)

and i hate most long running series for that exact reason. especially anything CoD, considering the size of their budget.

My list:

The new kill streak system.

All the maps, they're great.

The hybrid sights is great. Suits my play style.

The way the kill streaks start all over when you've got the highest.

Less time spent in the lobby. Feels like the time between matches is reduced.

I've probably forgotten a lot of things.

They need to patch the voice chat (sounds like dookie), and they need to patch a way to turn the MENU MUSIC OFF!!! I'm really tired of hearing it in the background of every lobby, loud enough to disrupt the already-bad chat.

Those are the only complaints I have about the game. I love "Kill Confirmed", it doesn't strictly eliminate camping, but it cuts down on it (and let's face it, a camper is always gonna camp. Get over it or find another genre).

5. Much improved Spec ops co-op

MarcRecon

I'm a fan but I just have to comment on your #5. I disagree, Suvival is a great addition, but the spec ops missions pale in comparison to MW2's. These ones lack variety and for the most part are so easy, getting a certain amount of stars in the original spec ops to unlock new ones was great, this time around, after a couple survival matches I had all the spec ops missions unlocked and there's no valiety to them, the majority of them are kill enemies, pick up some sort of intel, done.

most of the maps I've played in MW3 are like Favela ...lots of corners and it lacks open area maps like wasteland, derail, estate etc.

I'm not happy with the MP ..I think I'd be going back to MW2

Kill streaks do re-set after u get all of them, which is good so u dont have to die to get them again..

BUT the game has a grenade launcher problem, so why in the world do they make a dedicated greande launhcher gun with a scope ? People quick scoping hasn't been addressed too.

The core game is strong, but with thier budget, and amount of time taken, there has been too much recyclying.

Personally I recall the guitar hero series....Activision did the same exact thing..realeased so many of them and then killed it. I got a feeling they are starting to do the same here.

What 'fresh coat of paint' OP? It looks exactly the same - in fact it looks worse than MW2. I never thought that MW2 was a bad looking game. It looked vibrant with colours and it was also very clean without jaggies. MW3 conversely uses the same damn engine yet it looks washed out as hell and is a jaggy mess! I can't speak for other versions, this is for PS3.

Also the 80% of the sounds are recycled. The guns sound different sure but everything else is the same. Even the menus look the same! The online scoreboard looks the same, too! It really feels like I'm playing the exact same game!

Anyway, sorry to rain on your parade... but goddamn I don't see anything 'new' about MW3 apart from a few killstreaks, maps and the nerfing of explosives. I've never felt so ripped off in my life. When people were complaining online that it was 'the same game,' I thought they were complaining in the same way people complained that Blops was a rehash and that they were just being elitist douches. Blops and MW2 both offered many new features to be considered a new iteration of COD in their own right for the most part. This MW3 on the other hand is an absolute travesty copy and paste job. Furthermore Elite is disgusting and should be boycotted. It's a real shame for us consumers, first starting with XBox Live fees, and now continuing on into individual games.

I WILL NEVER LET THE HYPE BEAT ME AGAIN AND I SWEAR NEVER TO BUY ANOTHER COD. AFTER ALL I'VE BEEN PLAYING THE SAME DAMN GAME FOR TOO LONG NOW.

Ahem, sorry again. Continue please.

I agree with you that they did make several improvements upon MW2, and the gameplay is great, though honestly i really dislike the maps. If they made maps similar in design to MW2 then i would be playing non-stop, especially because of those mentioned improvements but there are a couple of maps I do really well in, and a couple I do horribly in but overall i just dislike them.

Still a great game though, play it at least once a day.
