Which part is damaged? the nub on the psp or the pad? If it just the pad look for a replacement. It shouldn't just fall off if you turn your PSP upside down. Sadly if it is the little nub you will have to talk to Sony about replacing your PSP or glue the sucker on.

Well... its the pad (the part where you stick your thumb on i think... right?), but the thing doesnt fall off when its turned upside down, like when im really into a game and i press hard cuz of the tension and i life my thumb for better grip, the analog would be stuck onto my thumb (fell off) and it gets annoying...i mean think of it this way, your playing VCS and your in a hardcore missionthen smack in the middle the analog comes off, you crash and get busted. so you know what imean? but i've also seen analog add ons on sale, do i have to have the original analog in order to out them on or do i just have to put it on without the original pad? (sorry for the long typing)

I think you're pushing to hard... the replacement nubs are all you need... and you don't need your original nub.

From the sound of it, either the thumbpad or the place where the thumbpad connects to is worn down. You could get replacement nubs, but if it's the place where it connects to that's worn down, it won't help.

Your best bet could be just gluing it back on. That way, it doesn't matter which part's worn down because the glue's going to hold it in place.
