My brand new Playstation 3!

Today I went to Toys R Us and picked up MotorStorm, Resistance: Fall of Man and another SIXAXIS controller. Then at Circuit City I bought a 60GB PS3, Ridge Racer 7, 300!, a PS3 headset and a...really expensive HDMI cable that cost me a whooping 100 dollars. Finally my last trip was to my local PX where I purchased a 42" Plasma HDTV for 900 dollars and Ninja Gaiden Sigma!

PS3: $499, 300: $29, MotorStorm: $59, R:FoM: $59, RR7: $39, NGS: $59, HDMI Cable: $99, and TV: 899.

I spent over 1600 dollars today... :X

Now, crack open some of those games and start playing the hell out of it. And Be sure to check out all the demos on the Playstation Store. Oh and I hope you saved some money to getHeavenly Sword in a few weeks.

The only thing i would change is the HDMI that you bought, really no point for it. 10 dollar HDMI's work the same and do exactly the same thing.

lol. You should see mine. 60" 1080p Sony SXRD (rear-projection), 5.1 Channel surround sound (though it does not support HDMI *tear*),all of the cables are hidden, the speakers' wires run under the carpet (pretty amazing technology). It all looks very clean as well. Yes, I'm spoiled. I'll feel deprived when I go off to college. lol. Of course, we didn't get the surround sound system for just the PS3. We got it for movies as well. Also, now we don't have to worry about the analog black out in 2009 on this TV. Good stuff.

The HDMI cable I got was the best I could find there, others were $50-70.

I really don't see how something like that would be found ALOT less elsewhere.

I spent $15 for a hdmi cable at my local fry. I could have order it online with shipping for a few bucks less. But i did not want to wait. Anyway, you overspent. Anyway, enjoy. I just got my ps3 too 2 weeks ago. And I really like the AI in RFOM and view photos. It looks so real like it was printed.

Seriously dude i have an amazing hdmi cable that i got for a grand total of $7 and change off of online... The only difference between mine and yours is the brand name... Kelloggs frosted Flakes taste just like the store brands... get the comparison?

The movie 300 he got is a blu ray disc not DVD.

Oh my god, yes. I'm using this cheap desk that my old TV used to be on. By the way, my old TV was so old - its actually made of wood and the audio disappears very often. I'm still amidst looking for a stand, but they sure are pricey.

And it feels awesome now that I have the best next-gen console right beside me.

i got a ps3 a month ago and olny play ps2 games i have no ps3 games i own :P waiting for warhawk and much more others

Personally I'm waiting for my 32" CRT TV to flake out and probably get a new Samsung DLP LED screen - 56"? We'll see.

I don't really care about the cable at the moment. I got one. I'm playing my PS3 in HD and thats fine for me.

Yeah just sent that form in today.

I chose The Invincible, Blazzing Saddles, Resident Evil Apocalypse, Black Rain and Transporter 2.

The selection was mediocre, I made the best I could of it.
