that's a great looking list.... although, I think Unforgiven II is a little out of place, just in terms of difficulty playing it - I don't think it's quite GRRR!!!! or fast enough for level 7. I'd also be very happy with that list overall though. Roll on GH : Metallica!

I know unforgiven 2 is a bit slow, but I was kinda running out of options....Iwasn't even going to put that one in, just a last minute thing, I guess :-)

The songs from other bands should be the covers from the garage days albums

Angry Again is not a 'tallica track and I doubt they covered it.

Nothing from new album? (BB&S/ Nightmare/ Judas...)

Nothing from Load? (Beyatch/ King/ Hero/ Bleeding/Outlaw...)

Why is Turn The Page there???????

You left out alot of great tracks, and some very notable ones like Fade to Black, Sandman and One.

Why include Cliff (who has been dead for over 20 years, and was a bassist) but not Kirk (who has been in the band since we've known it, and is the lead guitarist)?

You are sooo not running out of options. The four horsemen, motorbreath, dyer's eve, damage inc, disposable heroes + all the tracks I've mentioned above. Can't leave all these out!!! This is all I can remember I'm sure there's a few dozen more.

All good points especially the Cliff, Kirk point. Cliff was awsome but a battle with kirk would be more intense considering both would still be played on the same plastic guitar and you wouldn't need to make those huge stretches from the bass

All of these are good points, yes, but, remember, One was on GH 3, trying to not repeat songs from earlier games. Cliff is in there because of where the boss battle is,it would be early in their career, and we have yet to have a BASS BATLE. Remember, I did say that this was not a complete list, but I intentionally skipped load and re-load, to put that into the bonus list, and I skipped S&M. as for tracks from their new album, WAKE UP!!!!!! IT is a DLC for World Tour, it is already out there, no need to include a rehash...... I have fully intended to add others from the band for boss battles, or even as bonus battles, but I have my reasons for this list as it is. As for their covers, I felt it would be better to follow traditional GH format, and use either bands that they have either toured with (Faith No More, if you are old enough to remember that one, lol) or bands that were influential to them or possibly influential. Turn the Page is there because in many people's opinion, it was one of their best covers, AND it was the cover that got the most radio play. As it is, many of their covered bands would be in the bonus sets anyway. The FINAL boss battle would be against Kirk, given that this was a stand alone game, and not in BAND format. If it is in Band format, which most likely it would be, it would be a band vs band battle, as would the rest of them, the first one being with Cliff though, again because it is early in their career (Shades of the Aerosmith game format, which followed their career). If playing a solo career, you could pick the type of battle depending on which career path you chose, whether it be drums, lead, bass, sing, etc.

Now you know why some things which are obviously great, have been either left out, able to be switched around, or interpreted in different ways. You can also kinda get an idea of what the programmers go through in their decision making, and also Metallica themselves, since it is they who have the final say in what songs of theirs makes the game.

Almost forgot, Angry Again was supposed to be Shoot Me Again from the St. Anger CD. Sorry about that, but I don't think that my friend heard me right when we were making this list.
