I got a PSP a week back and have already tried out Daxter and MGS: PO. Daxter was fun and lighthearted with a forgiving save system, but Metal Gear didn't have enough action in it for me. Do you think I should get Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters instead. I really want a good action game that I will play for a long time that isn't a shooter. I hear Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is good but isn't fun without a friend for co-op. Thanks in advance for each recommendation.
You might be best to wait another week for God of War: Chains of Olympus, or even further, wait another three weeks for Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. Both are very action oriented.
its a hard decision beacuse both games you mentioned are good. iveplayed both games already but when it comes down to it i would choose monster hunter 2. reason is beacuse you can create your own charecter and make him look better with the clothes you get from hunting monsters, plus the armor makes you stronger and also you get to create your own weapons from bows to shield and swords and giant swords and much more. but its your decision. i liked daxter but it was too short. with MGS i couldn't get into the whole stealth thing and wanted more action. but i am going to borrow CC:FFVII from a friend.
Well... my first game was Tekken: Dark Ressurection, I guess. A cool game, with good graphics and gameplay. I began to love my PSP, playing this game :)
I personally would recommend Puzzle Quest along with maybe WipEout Pulse. Those two games I believe are extremely entertaining, and have amazing replay values.
I would also recommend Monster Hunter Freedom 2, but that is really a Love it or Hate it game...
If you're into to Strategy RPG's... I would recommend Jeanne D'Arc over Disgaea and FFT because it's much less hardcore, but the other two are both amazing. [I own FFT and Disgaea atm... not Jeanne D'Arc]
Like others have said though... God of War is almost here, and Crisis Core is just around the corner.. both are going to be excellent additions to almost every PSP owners library of games!
Burnout Legends is a good racing game if your looking for one. Oh, and if your casual and looking for a game that'll last you, Sid Meier's Pirates is a good choice.
