[QUOTE="baller72"] Ok as I agree with almost all of GS's reviews I will have to say goodbye to it. (I will still look at reveiws)
REASONS:
1. It is kinda hard to talk freely about things on here without starting a war.
2. If you say something that may cause a war it gets locked.
3. 360 is clearly the favorite console on this site and I of coarse own a PS3 and I can't take the bashing anymore.
4. FANBOYS
5. FANBOYS
6. ummmmm FANBOYS.
I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good site that I could talk PS3 peacefully without getting bashed for owning one cause I am tired of people telling me how dumb I am, when I know I picked the system of the future.
What pushed me over the edge is the fact that the Forum topic named (PS4) has still not been locked and it is clearly a bash on the PS3. Where as some of my topics have gotten closed without second thought and i thought they were harmless. go ahead look at the forum topic named (PS4) and just wonder how that got so many posts.

yeah, i agree with everything you just said, when i first joined gamespot which was around mid 2005 (xbox 360 wasnt launched yet), the forums were really peaceful the reviews were unbiased and not much hate in the forums. But then the xbox 360 came to life and all this fanboy, bashing, moderators... came in.
Many user here, really al lot of forum members also already noticed that GS is biased towards the box. There were already many threads about it. GS is part of C-Net. The answer why GS is doing this might be here.
http://www.cnetnetworks.com/partnerships/
some of their partners are two microsoft companys, msn and windows marketplace. Not Microsoft itself but two of their sister companys so that it's not soooo obvious that Cnet is controlled by MS to a certain degree (but with not just one but two companys from MS...just to be sure Gates).
Also Sony is no partner at all.
AND Sony themselfs are also a reason for this. While all MS companies work together and will never harm a sister company, Sony themself are a bunch of warlords. Sony Movies and Sony Online Entertainment are working together with MS, even with Xbox360 while SCEJ/SCEE and SCEA have to see where they are. IF therewas a MS Movie company then you would never see such a film as a game on a Nintendo or Sony Console. But that bloke Spiderman is jumping on all consoles around like an idiot.
