Sounds about right.............. but there are 2 big factors: 1) how many GBs the PS3. 2) no one is going to want Madden 12 and those two COD games are old which every one has. So whos ever looking to buy a PS3 is probably not going to care for the games. So now that you have that to think about, it would be wise if you lower it down to like $150

Does your husband know you're selling it? And $225 is A LOT. Consider yourself lucky if you get that. I sold my spare PS3 a while back, 80GB, no B/C, no games and got $140. I was asking $150.

Why are you selling his PS3 without him knowing? That's a pretty s*itty move to be frank.

don't worry, he'll get the money back when he sells all her shoes so he can get a new one.

Haha, I have been there. My wife sold my PSP back in the day but she got me another one after I "accidentally" let the dog chew on her purse. :)

We are not getting a divorce we have 2 kids after the holidays moneys tight bills are due I sold my coach purse too. He didn't need to know before hand because he knows i'll do what it takes to make sure bills get paid. That's why its my decision he trusts me and now he has an excuse to get some new system thing when we can afford it. He knows life's tough and sometimes you have to sell your stuff. We did get 225 out of it too. When I told him he wasn't too upset I think he suspected it was coming. Thank you all for the info thats the reason i came on here was because I do not know anything about how much that thing was worth. Now if would have sold his sports autographs that might get me served. lol Thanks again

What's easier than asking on here about if you sold something for the right price is going onto Ebay and search for each item you are selling. Then taking the average selling price of each item and adding it up. That gives you the correct amount you should sell your things for. I do this every time I sell stuff and then I take 10% off of the average sold price on Ebay so I can get mine sold fast to get the cash. I just did this with my sons Wii and games he didn't play any more as he enjoys only his PS3 now that he realises the PS3 is the better system and the Wii is just about moving controllers around.

If you have to resort to selling things you already own to pay the bills (and, of course, rebuying those things all over again at full price) then you might want to rethink your lifestyle.

Awfully judgmental aren't we? Our next door neighbor has 3 kids. The husband works two jobs and the wife works a full time job and they STILL didn't have enough to get Christmas presents for their kids (they had to do Toys For Tots). This recession is no joke. The fact that all they had was COD and an old Madden game should tell you something. Gaming is probably not a big part of their life.

If they're working three jobs between them and are still that bad off financially then yeah, they need to rethink their lifestyle and see what they can do to reduce their expenses. I know about financial hardship man. I've experienced like everyone else has. Rather than give up our possessions the wife and I cut down our expenses, including moving to a different area in order to shave a couple hundred off our monthly rent.
