I've never played Blazblue yet. But as a fan of 2D fighters, I would say there should be at least 35 ~ 50 characters. Those "Capcom vs" games were great for that (well two of them anyways).
I think we're way past the era of limitations with 2D fighting games. There really is no reason why any 2D fighting game today would have 6 ~ 12 characters imo
I happen to like the limit it charecters, it feels liek each other them are specail and play different

Well, if there's a real exception to the rule. If they were done really well, have great personalities and a purpose. An actual story. Then I would agree with that.

More than that personally, its how they all play so differently without making the game feel too unbalanced, that doesn't leave me wanting more characters.I guess u can say I like more of good things, I was jus hoping for at least 3 more hidden characters or something of sorts. But since this is like the Virtua Fighter of 2D fighting games I could look past that gripe because the gameplay and balance is so well. I agree that something u do not see often in a fighting game.I've also thinked about buying it as my first 2D fighter EVER!

i honestly wouldn't mind having extra characters, or atleast a feature where you can custom colour your character.
In terms of gameplay, the number of character is actually overwhelming. The strategy and tactic to battle against each character takes a long time to learn due to the vastly different styIe each character has, and various options all the characters have.
But in terms of visuals, art, and styIe it might be difficult to find a character that fits to your taste. I easily found one with Litchi, but finding second character has been fairly tough.
well from watching the true ending of the game you can be assured that there's gonna be a sequel to this game dood. i hope terumi would be playable in the sequel dood, i really wanna kick his ass dood.
at first i wanted more characters too but then i realized that it doesnt matter how many characters there are in that game because i would always only use taokaka :D
No nut man? I'm offended..

You guys all did a brilliant job explaining it. There is no need for me here.
I will leave this picture of Noel, however. Use it wisely.
