MY ps2 HAS FINALLY BROKEN SO I RECKON ITS TIME TO GET AN ps3 IS THIS A GOOD IDEA

It's a great idea... How long did you have your PS2 and how many great games did you play on it? I'm assuming for a long time and a lot, PS3 is just the upgrade, so really there shouldn't be much of a question... Not bashing on the box cuz I have both systems and use them equally, but if you have been a Sony fan this whole time, trust me now is not the time to just change your mind

Well, your family doesn't understand that you can play online for free, whereas with the other console you've gotta pay a fee.

Buy a PS3, it will save you money in the long run.

I have a launch day PS2 and it's still good. But I also got a 60GB PS3 so I don't use it. But it aint broke yet. We just use it as a DVD player is my sister's room.
