I just recently got a new HDMI cable to got with my 60GB PS3 and my Samsung HDTV. The picture is great and really crisp, the only problems I have are the the HDMI cable being connected made the picture smaller and more defined (which isn't really a problem) and the PS3 seems to be running slower. I have never heard of this happening before or being an issue. Does anyone have a solution or know whats is going on?

When you switch between 1080p and 480P the pictuer will appear to zoom in or out. this is normal. as for slwoing down. displaying a 1080p signal is far more demanding then 480p. I've neveer noticed a difference though.

It shouldn't slow anything down.
