I highly doubt its normal but sony know what they are talking about.. so is it safe to continue useing? ive never lost faith in sony but I dont know if I had an honest dude or if someone was just taking the mick out of me..

I've had my DS3 for 2 years and never seen any kind of liguid coming out. Not real sure if your serious or not. I'd certainly get a new controller.

Its probably leaking from the battery. I would throw it away and get a new one before you need to go to the hospital

The only thing that could leak in a PS3 controller would be the battery. There is nothing safe about the fluid from a battery. Take it back to the store and get it replaced, or throw it out and buy a new 1.

I've never heard of that, I don't think it's normal. Call Sony again and ask a different person. It's probably the batteries or maybe a drink you got in the controller.

I hardly believe this topic is true but I'll play his little game.

"ACUTE (short term): see Section 8 for exposure controls
In the event that this battery has been ruptured, the electrolyte solution contained within the battery would be
corrosive and can cause burns.
Inhalation: Inhalation of materials from a sealed battery is not an expected route of exposure. Vapors or mists from a
ruptured battery may cause respiratory irritation.
Ingestion: Swallowing of materials from a sealed battery is not an expected route of exposure. Swallowing the
contents of an open battery can cause serious chemical burns of mouth, esophagus, and gastrointestinal tract.
Skin: Contact between the battery and skin will not cause any harm. Skin contact with contents of an open battery
can cause severe irritation or burns to the skin.
Eye: Contact between the battery and the eye will not cause any harm. Eye contact with contents of an open battery
can cause severe irritation or burns to the eye.
CHRONIC (long term): see Section 11 for additional toxicological data"

Taken from this .pdf.

http://www.concordebattery.com/otherpdf/lithiumionmsds.pdf

The controller battery may not be from Concorde but it is a lithium ion.

yeah i highly doubt a company plagued with laptop battery recalls due to fire and injury is gonna overlook what would very likely be a battery leak. You are lying.

if u buy a new controller, ur under 1 year warranty with them. if u have the receipt just tell them ur controller needs repairing. i had a D3 and i broke the spring of R2, and i rang em they took some info from me and in 5 min i was done and ready to send my controller in for a brand new one

You'd better pay attention what your teachers say at school, or else you could end up in Sony's client support service telling people that blue fluids leaking out of their controllers is normal

I've never had faith in Sony to begin with. :P The leaking is most definitely NOT normal. Unless you've been drinking something, and dunked your controller in said fluid for it to seep in and now come back out later, then it would be coming from inside the controller. And the only thing that would leak out within that, is the Li-Ion Battery. Call up again, and ask for a replacement. Given it is within two months since first having the thing, I wouldn't take any crap from them about it not being within warranty, either.
