I was watching casino royal today and about 1.5 hours into the movie the picture started to get all pixely. I turned off the machine and loaded it again and it did the same thing. I tried playing resistance and it froze up when i tried loading the game. I tried loading a demo and it froze as well. I restored to default setting and did a quick reformat and it still didnt fix it. Now i cant play anygames or watch anything because everything is all pixelated...
unplug everything and the power from the outlet. also the wires to the tv. then plug it back in. also try shaking the ps3 like a prom dumbster baby wihout any disk inside.
I guess i'm just unlucky, considering i got it last thursday. i'm not really angry but more disapointed in sony. I hope this is just a defect and dosnt start to occur in your ps3's. btw casino royal was the movie that screwed it up.
Maybe it overheated? Do you keep it in a confined space, like not that much clearance between the PS3 and it's... wherever you keep it? You need to keep it out in the open so it can breathe.
Me personaly I am waiting till later this year to get it (I am a playstation fan) Â because final fantasy and the other games I want are not out number one. To give sony a chance to fix the playstation three's so I won't have to send it off so they can fix it.
Good news. Since i had it for only a week best buy said i got exchange it and i dont even have a replacement plan. :)hwardrocks
I am not sure about the US but in the UK consumer law which, allows a product (goods or services) to be refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase.
