MY PS3 just died but sendin it back to sony already

Well I know some people that have kept their ps3 on for weeks and it runs fine. I guess this guy is just unlucky or puts it in a place that isn't well ventilated.

I still wouldn't chance keeping my PS3 on for longer then 4 hours at a time.

I have heard of people that leave it on for like 10 hours! Man you can't put MGS4 down after just 5 hours! Sony makes a great and inovative console. That sucks though dude, but I am sure they can fix it.

And its a 60Gb November 06 PS3

I understand that, but you have to know that its rare if your PS3 breaks, its more often to happened with the 360.

I phoned Sony 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting on my PS3! They said it would be delivered on one day. Then when it didn't come I phoned again aand it still hasnt came. They claim to have sent out 3.

I understand that, but you have to know that its rare if your PS3 breaks, its more often to happened with the 360.

You ain't lying. My X360 heat up and freeze the game in 2-3 hours of play and it well ventilated. :| And happen like 6 times in 5 months or less. Atleast it ain't broke. But looking forword to getting the MGS4 PS3. :D

My PS3 just died last night when i turned it on to play some games the game got stuck inside the system i manage to take but when i tried to put another game inside it wont even take it i tried pressing the ejects button and the blue light starts to flash and it makes grinding noises. I am going to call Sony later on today to send it in. I only had it for a month its the MSG 4 Bundle.psp41

Completely on because I keep mine on stand by 24/7 but never on that long since it does get fairly hot after a few hours of playing.

I had my ps3 since launch and I leave it on for weeks at a time. Bedsides, I play for longer 5-6 hours sometimes.

I have a launch 60 gig ps3 and i left it on over night a few times (folding@home).
