My PS3 need HELP !!

So guys I bought my PS3 on Sunday and I borrowed GTA 4 from a friend. Now this is the problem when I insert the disc it runs and then something come up It said

" The installed game is corrupted. The game will close. You must delete the installed game and then reinstall it to play this game."

YEAH I'm disappointed I tried again and still get the same result. So what is the problem and how can I fix it .

My firmware is 2.52 and 64GB free (my PS3 is 80GB)

My advice would be to reinstall one more time and if it still dont work try a different disc and/or call sony not much else to say

Is it the disc scratched or My PS3 is out of date or something but the disc is okay though. It's not a defect copy It is Blu-ray. My friend has no problem with it. He still curious how I get this problem because It works perfect for him.

If there are saved game downloads or files on your HDD, anything about GTA 4 delete them and restart install from the beginning.

OK I've deleted them all and I'm still a newbie so I need to ask How do you reinstall it. I know It is a stupid question but so I need help

When you inser the disc it shoul begin installing automatically. Just follow the on screen instructions. If the disc condition is fine then there should be no problem

I still getting the same result. It happens when the art work of Niko Bellic hide behind the box and then the quote appears with black screen " The installed game is corrupted. The game will close. You must delete the installed game and then reinstall it to play this game." I tried another game. It is PES2009 but you don't have to install it right so I don't know is it the same situation or not but I'm hoping that I will not happen to other games.

Are you completly uninstalling it? go to the game category then all the way up to game data utility find gta in there hit triangle and the delete

Try this; take the disc out. Turn off your system, then restart it. Before inserting the disc check your HDD for GTA files, if there are any, get rid of them and restart the system again. If the system is clean of GTA files insert the disc and try installing again. This is not a disc problem as it seems but some cache file or something. Then you might need to format your HDD which means loosing everything. Sorry but this is all the help I can give at the moment.
