My PS3 Slim sometimes makes cracking noises?

Well sometimes when I am playing on my PS3 Slim I hear a crack noise coming from it kinda like a snap. So is it like the case just expanding a little bit because of the heat or something else.

Yeah its the heat that makes the plastic expand. Happens to mine all the time too. Many other people have the same thing, so it's nothing to worry about.
