So I just slid in my ESIV: Oblivion in my PS3 and as the game was loading, it froze at where the developers name pops up but apparently the screen just stayed black. Obvlion freezes often so I didn't think it was a big deal until I shut the power down and boot it up again and the disk wasn't recognized, same for any other games

Any solution?

Sounds like a disk read error.

I'm sorry to say that you have to call Sony for them to send you a coffin.

I had the same problem with the ps3. i called sony and they sent me a new one. it has something to do with the blueray driver.

just give sony a call and they should send you a box and withing 1-2 weeks you should get a refurbished or a new one
