My PS3 won't read any blu ray games please read!

did u get a bluray disk with your ps3? like talladega or csino royale? try those and see if the ps3 plays the disk.

I'm sorry to say that I was right that the PS3 would show problems so early. As Cartman always said: "nah nah nah nah nah. ha ha ha, ha ha ha, na na na na na na na"XmasterX01

Mine and the majority of people and friends have not have one freeze or error occur on their ps3, and mine is a launch console.

anyone think a disc drive cleaner might work? if not, does anyone know about sony's customer support system? is it free?bluem00se

If the same thing has happened with the same game on different discs, it has to be the console... I believe if you call them up and explain the problem, they will replace it for free... When you say it doesnt play, does it say this game cannot be read, or does it give you a black screen afterwards?

Im not a hardware guru but if the disc is in good condition because you got a new copy, then its your ps3. Good disc + bad reader = no go :/ If you cant find anymore information, call customer service to see if you cant fix it, and if you still cant get it working, request a return...

do you have any money by chance? because if so buy a cheap blu-ray movie and pop that in, or borrow a friends... see if it really is your ps3. goodluckxtn702
