Help guys! My PS3 just YLOD and although YLOD's have been going on for the last 4 years, (and there's no sticky) so what do thinkneeds to happen in this scenario?! (anyone is welcome to speak up).

[/Q That so wrong lol, you can have it fix by any local shops who knows how to deal with YLOD. Second option just buy a slim ps3.

You've got 3 options;

1) Buy a PS3 Slim, this is probably the best option

2) Fix it yourself, the heatgun/thermal paste fix is only temporary but for some people it can last long.

3) Get it fixed by Sony, they will probably do a better job with it and have it lasting for years.

I do agree with crossell 1 buy a slim 2 fix ur old ps3 and trade it in towards a slim
