When I boot it up it just closes right before the main menu pops up. I know it sounds like a brick but I didn't do anything to it I just got a drop of docter pepper maybe into the systemapples001
I've noticed that you have a Wipeout Pure ship as your logo.
I don't know if you did the same thing that I did, but I downloaded Classic Pack #1 from a site that i got a link to on Gamespot on the Wipeout forum. I downloaded it and then my PSP kept shutting of for no reason whatsoever.
As soon as I deleted the download for the Classic Pack #1 I was fine, and I haven't had any problems since.
I'm just trying to help you, though, because I have had that problem once before... I downloaded the Classic Pack #1 from a different site because I was too late to download it from the official site and it kept turning off during the game for no reason.
As soon as I deleted that download, all the problems that I had stopped.
It wasn't worth one track and one crappy ship that I never use.
