I just bought a game from GameStop and it had a clear case instead of the regular white one. When I put the game in, nothing happens and the PSP (which is the first model, a 1000 if I'm not mistaken) makes a minor thudding sound. I put in my games with a white case to make sure that it works, and it does. This isn't the first time I've had an issue with the clear case and I was wondering if there are any fixes. Thanks in advance!

That UMD has been repaired with a replacement case. Best option take it back to gamestop and get a replacement game. Or you can buy another replacement UMD case and fix the game yourself. Those clear plastic cases are not the best. But UMD's were not very strudy to begin with. Google replacement UMD PSP game cases and the website that sells the UMD repair kits should appear.

Good luck
